These articles are usually put there by whoever owns the copyright to them as a promotion method. Each article has the owners byline placed under it so that those who eventually read the article will know who wrote it (or at least who owns it) and will be able to get in contact with or visit their website for further information.

Articles directories are a great place to put your articles so that they will make you money. By using this method, people who are interested in your product or service will see your article, view you as an expert in the subject, and will visit your website. Even if you cannot write or do not have any knowledge on the subject on which you are promoting (for example if you have an affiliate website), you can always hire a writer to do the work for you. Getting quality articles written will be expensive up front, but they will pay for themselves in no time, either through affiliate sales or selling your own services, and everything from then on is pure profit.

Let’s take a real life example. Imagine that you are an accountant working from home. You write an article on an accounting topic and place it on various article directories. Those who are looking for the subject you wrote about will read your article, see that you have the knowledge and skill that is needed to do a job for them, and visit your website or contact you via e-mail. Your article just gained you a new client who may use your services regularly, but will definitely give you a nice profit at least once.

Furthermore, since you have posted it on a free article directory, others who have affiliate websites about accounting will inevitably use your article for their website. Since they must attach your byline to it, this will bring you even more exposure for every website that re-posts your article. This because you will be benefiting from the traffic that they get to their website.

There are numerous article directories out there for you to utilize. Your bet best is to put a copy of each of your articles on every one for maximum exposure. It will eventually help to bring more traffic and customers to your website, which will lead to new orders and more profit.

"About the author" Bob Kotlarz is the former CEO at Syracuse Automotive Inc. and is the owner of Central New York Properties and BMK Enterprises and has put together six great programs that are high quality and a training newsletter available at www.easy-profitsites.com

23 Strategies to Improve Your Website Traffic, Google Page Rank and Alexa Ratings

23 Strategies to Improve Your Website Traffic, Google Page Rank and Alexa Ratings
By Cammie Moise

1. Content - It is all about the 3 C's - Consistent, Current, Content. Post at least 5 entries a week, if you consistently post information it also attracts new visitors and subscribers.

2. Press Releases - Send out a press release announcing the launch of your site. Any newsworthy item should also be considered for a press release. We recommend a site like PRLog.org, a free press release website. Occasionally, Google News will pick up a press release off this site if it is gaining interest after posting.

3. Facebook - Are you on Facebook? If so, you can set up an account for your site or create a fan page. Then invite your friends to join. You can tie in your RSS feed (new entries) so anyone visiting will see current information. When someone becomes a fan or friend you will reach their friends and gain more followers.

4. Twitter - We have seen lots of success with people that have used Twitter to network their site. Once you learn how Twitter works and the etiquette of networking you should find some success. The "tweets" you come across can inspire articles and form relationships. These relationships you build can result in posts to your site and a "guest" appearance. Your guest can provide information from an expert in the field and be a benefit to your readers.

5. Blog Catalogs - Sign up for Blog Catalogues, it just so happens that a popular one is actually called BlogCatalog.com. This can get your name out there and introduce you to other sites that you will find helpful.

6. Article Marketing - Many of your entries will make good topics for an article. You can edit your post to appeal to a larger audience and post it on that site. If you post good content it will result in views to your article and then clicks to your site.

7. Subscriptions - Provide your readers with an email subscription service for those that don't want to miss the most recent articles. You can sign up with a service, such as Feedburner, and have it set up to automatically check once a day for new content and send it out.

8. Email blast - Email all of your contacts to introduce them to your site. Let them know what beneficial information you provide. Ask them to visit your site and subscribe to your email updates and register. Ask for feedback, do they like the layout, the look and ask them to critique to help you improve your site. Then ask them to help you pass the word and email their contacts.

9. Social Bookmarks - Tag your best posts at sites like Digg, StumbleUpon and Technorati. Every time you have a tag out there, it is one more inbound link. Links to your site will improve your rating.

10. Trading links - Network with others that provide similar information and add a link to their site and ask them to link to you. You can also introduce them to your readers as someone you follow.

11. Alexa Widget - Add an Alexa widget to your site that shows your ranking. When you have this widget on your site it also improves your own Alexa ranking.

12. Default Home Page - Ask friends and family if they will add your site as their default home page on their computer. Every time they open their browser, it is one more hit on your site.

13. Forums - Find a few forums related to your site and post questions and answers. Add value to that community. Set up a signature page that you can use to sign out that includes your website.

14. Interlinking - As you add content to your site, link to other articles that you have already written that are similar. This allows people to find more articles on that subject that are on your site. Sometimes a visitor to your site may not find what they are looking for in the article they are reading, but the information may be in a related article and this leads them there. The longer a visitor stays on your site the better chance you have for them to subscribe or return to your site.

15. Site Map - Put together a site map and submitted it to Google, Yahoo and MSN. This site map includes all the blog entries as a separate page. The more pages you have on your site the more content you are providing which increases your standings.

16. Google Analytics - Use Google Analytics to track the page hits and number of visitors. Google Analytics provides reports that inform you of the most active pages, where your links come from and what keys words are being used in the search engines to find your site.

17. Keywords / Metatags - Each page on your site has a unique page description and a unique set of key words. While many pages use the same key word, no two pages have the same set. The key word list contains a long list of words related to information provided on your site. Make it a point to use those key words in your posts. This increases your keyword's density. According to Google, the greater your keyword density, the more relevant you are.

18. Guest Blog - Highlight other websites, articles, products and people on your site. This provides more content and links. This is a great way to provide your readers with access to experts in the field or wonderful products.

19. Contests - Provide giveaways and contests for your readers. This can attract many to your site. These giveaways and contests provide another opportunity for a press release and links to our site.

20. Logo / Branding - Have a logo that is memorable and eyecatching. One that distinguishes who you are.

21. Easy Links - Provide information on how others can link to your site and make it easy.

22. Kirtsy.com - This is a great site to find popular and relevant articles. Once you join kirtsy you can share articles that you find interesting and add them to their site. You can also add your best articles from your website. When you go to their home page you will see articles posted and in the green box, it shows you how many votes an article receives. The more votes an article gets the more popular it becomes and the more exposure it receives. This site can also be an indicator as to what is a popular topic.

23. ProBlogger - I found this site through networking on Twitter. He consistently provides great information to help you succeed in making the most of your site. Recently, he provided a 31 day challenge - 31 days to build a better blog. You can find this information at problogger.net.

A successful website or blog takes daily attention to finding what works and providing good content. It also succeeds when you build relationships with your readers and network with others. Try these 23 steps and see if you notice an increase in traffic and an improvement on your ranking.

Cammie's blog site http://www.MomsMaterial.com gives moms ideas they want. She talks about parenting, books for kids and moms, party ideas, school and great gifts ideas.

Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Cammie_Moise

INTERNET MARKETING BRANDING YOURSELF

The first step in being successful in Marketing is branding yourself as and expert in the field of your choosing, now this can be very daunting for some and the reason being is because of the word expert. Let me define this word so we can further break it down. Expert defined is (person with special skill in a particular field), now when we break this down, an expert is just a person, and your special skill is how you do things in your specified niche or field. With that being said we are all special and the things we do are special now all we have to do is choose a field or niche.

So we have broken down what makes us experts. This is important because once you realize that you are in fact an expert, all your actions should support that. Now no one is perfect is a true statement but, when a blunder occurs it should not be because of your lack of expertise but instead the human condition of not being perfect.

Now you are the expert and ready to brand yourself.

The reason for branding yourself is.

Branding yourself is imperative because if you choose to do anything on line you would like to have prospects seeking you out first rather then the products you endorse. Why? Let go over the reasons.

Now you are the expert and ready to brand yourself.

The first reason and I think the most obvious is the fact of your competition on the internet, your competitors. Literally thousands of people and bots are selling your same products. If you have ever joined an affiliate site with premade websites don't be fooled you are really not alone, but if I were to Google your name or your brand I have instantly set you apart from the rest.

Reason number two, real time markets are changing and what opportunities are here now might not be here tomorrow are months down the line, so if you have branded a company transitioning from opportunity to the next will not be as smooth as you like.

Ways to brand yourself.

The way to brand yourself is in your profile about me section in just about every social site, blog, or article submitting site on the net. These are great opportunities to give value and information about yourself, so make it good content with emotion. This leads to the next way to brand you.
Writing articles and giving people valuable content shows that you are knowledgeable and you are willing to help. Start a blog where you can send people to receive this content
Another way is through video, this is really effective because it allows your prospects to build memories, be personable even funny.
Be consistent because changing your campaign strategy is o.k. but not being concise is not good when you are establishing yourself as a leader.
Using pictures can be another way of branding yourself. People will associate you with your surroundings and others you associate with. Have you ever heard a picture is worth a thousand words?

Successfully branding yourself in internet Marketing means more traffic, more leads, more targeted leads, which in turn will bring you more money.

Ideals of an Autoresponder

When in the internet business it is all about the list. There are some special services you might be looking for like certain filters, the ability to redirect traffic, and send off single emails.
With all the choices out there shop around and choose the one that is right for your business.

Create your own Information Product

Do you want to create you money 24hrs a day without having to deal with outside distributors and manufacturing? Creating an identifiable username, Know who exactly is your target audience, post regularly, and be descriptive and relevant.

Have an identifiable username:

Your user should be specific to what you are trying to drive your traffic, so if there is a search for a subject you are in you username will show that you are what they are looking for.

Know who your exact target audience is:

Some twitter are under the impression that getting a lot of followers is the way to go, but that is not the case it is much more than that because if you are just following everyone just to build your follower count you are probly following people that are more than likely not interested in your program or product. Doing targeted searches for people in the niche you are in you will find more receptive followers and followers with more of an interest in you.

Posting regularly:

Posting regularly will keep you in you follower’s eyes but posting too much on one account might be too much unless you are posting good and relevant material. It has been suggested that you post three times a day at least once in the morning, noon and night. It also will be more affective if you post on three different accounts (you will need three different e-mails for this), all accounts being related.

Be descriptive and stay relevant:

When posting use a good description when giving a link it is much easier for a person to click a link if they have a good idea where they are going with it. Keep your post relevant t you site or product, that way there is no confusion as to what you represent. Using shorten URLs will help when needing more room for a post.

There are a lot of tools at the new Internet Marketers disposal which can even the playing field in the marketing business.

PEOPLE WHO FOLLOW SOCIAL MEDIA

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 114px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_-nzLIIftMzE/SvDt0M2sFcI/AAAAAAAAADM/8J-fkhV_odc/s200/social-media-diagram-wide.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5400077434276812226" />
Social media is about being social; running your business on auto pilot is not always the best way to go. When people are looking to make connections with people that is exactly what they are looking for.
Nothing frustrates a potential social media prospect more than feeling disconnected from the people they are trying to reach out to.
People who follow social media are looking for news and information and when they have a connection with the person who is giving them the news or information it makes it easier for them to keep coming to you for more.
Different social sites give you the option to add friends and to give those friends a greeting when they add you. This is a very important step because if you are adding friends you want to have a history for future dialog so a simple hello nice to have as a friends will suffice.
There is some site that can help you with accepting friends and giving them your initial salutations, but don't just rely on that, follow up especially if they send you a reply back and ask a question. You increase the chances of a conversation lasting longer by giving genuine responses.
Remember to keep it clean, vulgarity will get you nowhere in a social network only blocked or banned. Spamming is also not a good way to start a conversation. If someone was to approach you and the first thing out of there mouth was would you like to buy I would be like no! Why? Because it was too much money and not enough time invested, and it doesn’t even have to cost that much, so invest the time to be social in your social network and people will invest on you.

SOCIAL MEDIA

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 145px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_-nzLIIftMzE/Su9Dx9S9ajI/AAAAAAAAADE/MBPjUQNsnL4/s200/Socil-Media-Image-300x217.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399609003787250226" />
Social media is all about being social. Now that being said as in real life or on the street the concept of being social is entering into a group forum or conversation and being able to establish connections with people.

The people who can do this on a consistent basis are the people who can be most successful in social networks. That being said how many people you stay in contact with in your social circle. I know some people have like thousands of followers and with that many a person will have use broader forms of media to stay connected with them, using Tweet deck, Digsby, and maybe video blogs and Skype conference live video chats and to keep up with these socialites the web is ever changing and accommodating.

The social mogul integrates seamlessly into the mainframe of the net, with all his or hers moves dictating reaction and giving direction from one social stream to the next. Their follows like an endless cloud sometimes a plague when they shut down sites because these sites are not able to handle the full volume or security alarms go off as if under attack, this is the sheer power of the social mogul.
Stay tuned for part two of social media.
By Louis Varela

cell phones the staple of our diets

These days there are many to choose from when it comes to cell phones but how do you know if you are really getting your moneys worth? The smaller cell companies give you greatly reduced prices but at what cost, when it comes to value and quality? The bigger companies give you unlimited access with a front end cost that is staggering for such a small item.
With companies like Cricket and Boost Mobile pushing the market with their low prices seem to be what keeps the telecommunications companies in check. In fear of losing customers companies like sprint and Verizon have laxed some of their service charges and they are also giving out rewards to existing customers. This I haven't seen before rewarding existing customers I want to SCREAM, being a tech geek.
The comments varied from person to person but one thing remains constant and that is, they all wanted a new cell phones and or a new cell phones plans. Well me being a long time customer of sprint I can tell you they got you covered. You are able to change plans at anytime seamlessly and they also suggest plans that will better suit your needs. How's that for convenience? AT&T on the other hand has the mother ship the IPhone with apps that would make this persons life a whole lot easier. What is a cell phone these days anyways, but a personal assistant that if we had our way would wait on us hand and foot?
In conclusion cell phones There has been much debate in music industry around hip-hop and it significance in the industry. We all have heard the slogan "hip-hop is dead". Well where did that come from, and who is killing Hip-hop. Hip-hop is definitely not the same. The music has gone through some changes since its beginnings. It seem that the Hip-Hop scene has became volatile between Hip-Hop artists to the point that it is no longer a Hip gig, we all remember the artists Tupac Amaru Shakur also known by his stage names 2Pac (or simply Pac) and Makaveli and Christopher George Latore Wallace popularly known as Biggie Smalls, they both ended up dead and both had a long standing "beef" as it is called when two artists are at odds. It doesn’t stop there.

On the music side what was once a Dj and Mc based music collaboration since the early day in Jamaica has now incorporated new elements focusing on vocals and more mainstream tactics, and with the new and improved auto tune some people question if the artists will all begin to sound the same. Most people like the new direction of hip-hop even though the themes can get repetitive. The catchy hooks and dramatic beats whipped up in the studios keep the fans wanting more. In my opinion the future of Hip-Hop is uncertain one thing does remain constant “Change”. Change is inevitable from Africa Bambatta to the Sugar Hill Gang, from Eminem to Lil Wayne, stop trying to kill hip hop, it is a hip gig.
